Architectural Foam in San Diego
Add depth and character to any exterior.
Classic architectural detail, at a fraction of the cost
Architectural foam shapes add dimension to a plain stucco exterior. Window and door surrounds, trim bands, sills, arches and columns are cut from expanded polystyrene (EPS), installed on the wall, then base-coated and finished with stucco to match the house.
Foam is lightweight, moisture resistant and dimensionally stable, and it costs much less than wood or cement trim. It's the perfect upgrade during a sandblast and re-stucco, on new construction or on a remodel.

Architectural Foam questions
Will foam trim hold up?
Yes. Once it's meshed, base-coated and finished with stucco, it's protected from the weather and looks like the rest of the wall.
Can you add foam during a re-stucco?
Yes. It's one of the most popular upgrades. We install the shapes after sandblasting and finish them along with the rest of the house.
Is foam cheaper than wood or cement trim?
Generally yes. Foam shapes are faster to install and cost significantly less than wood or precast cement.
