Forty years, same name, same owner
Cliff Davenport started in the plastering trade in the 1970s, working his way up from plaster tender to apprentice to journeyman. In 1986 he and his wife Joyce founded Lemon Grove Stucco Inc., and they've run it together ever since.
We keep our own crews of journeyman plasterers, our own trucks and sandblasting equipment, and our own showroom and warehouse in Spring Valley, where we buy materials in volume and pass the savings on to you.

What our clients say
“What began as a need for new windows quickly morphed into a new stucco and exterior redesign of the entire home. The best of the best of course, Lemon Grove Stucco, was our go to for quality, professionalism and price. Cliff, with over 32 years in the business, still makes house calls. He’s personable, knowledgeable and he and his crew, always have ‘a no problem’ attitude. The guys are great to work with and know what they are doing so you, as the homeowner, have no worries. Thanks to Cliff and Joyce, there are no hidden fees, everything is up front pricing and accounted. Don’t hesitate to have Cliff bid your job.”
“Cliff and his team did such a fantastic job on my stucco. They had a special color made for my project. The attention to detail was impeccable, from prep to cleanup. Several contractors on site commented oh how well they did. Could not have been happier😎 Thank you Cliff and team at Lemon Grove Stucco. Steve U”
“Lemon Grove Stucco 🍋 did an amazing job restuccoing my home towards the end of 2025. Not only did the Lemon Grove Stucco crew provide immaculate service from set up through completion, they were fast and efficient, which don't always go hand-in-hand. They actually left things better than they found them! From rolled up water hoses, clean and a debris free yard (front and back) to helping remove an old and dated satellite dish, which was not part of their scope. Owner, Cliff Davenport, is a great human being. If only more business owners had his ethics and went the extra mile to do things the right way the first time there would be a lot more happy clients and homeowners. Cliff met with me on three different occasions, took the time to explain to me the variances in the multiple quotes I had received over a year, and even brought an actual weep screed (not just a photo detail) to explain why some quotes included it and others didn't. I made the right choice in selecting Lemon Grove Stucco and couldn't be more pleased with the results. Thank you Cliff and Joyce! See before and after photos.”
“Lemon Grove Stucco did a great job on the re-stucco of our house. Cliff was very informative and knowledgeable. The crews that did the work were excellent. Very good preparation, application and cleanup.”
“We recently hired Lemon Grove stucco and couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the team was professional, punctual, and extremely detail-oriented. They took the time to explain the process, kept the work area clean, and completed the project on schedule. The quality of the stucco work exceeded our expectations. The finish looks amazing and completely transformed the appearance of our home. It’s clear they take pride in their craftsmanship and customer service. I highly recommend them.”
“Lemon Grove Stucco exceeded my expectations in doing a complete re-stucco of my 8-unit apartment building. They showed up on time and stayed on the job until it was done. The finish texture is beautiful and superior to the other stucco jobs in the neighborhood.”

Common questions
Do you do small stucco patches?
Our specialty is complete re-stucco: whole houses, apartment buildings and commercial properties. One full sandblast and re-stucco gives you a consistent color and texture with no visible patches.
How long does a re-stucco take?
We usually sandblast and re-stucco an average three-bedroom house in two working days: one day to sandblast and one day to stucco. Most jobs take two to five days from start to finish.
Why sandblast instead of stuccoing over paint?
Paint stops the wall from breathing, and if new stucco is glued over paint that later fails, the stucco fails too. Sandblasting removes the paint so new stucco bonds to the wall.
Will I have to paint my new stucco?
No. Cement stucco is colored all the way through with mineral pigments, so it never needs paint.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Ask about 12-month same-as-cash financing on approved credit. See our Financing page for details.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. CSLB license #637916 (C-35 Lathing and Plastering), with a contractor's bond and workers' compensation insurance. You can verify our license on the CSLB website.
