Family owned. Since 1986.

Forty years of sandblasting and re-stuccoing San Diego homes, apartments and commercial buildings, under the same name and the same owner.

Our story

Built by a journeyman plasterer

Cliff Davenport began his career in the 1970s as a plaster tender and worked his way up through the trade as an apprentice and then a journeyman. He spent his first ten years in new construction, learning every part of the plastering business.

In 1986, Cliff and his wife Joyce, whose background was in accounting and bookkeeping with the FDIC, founded Lemon Grove Stucco Inc. That combination of craft and careful business has kept the company going for 40 years under the same name and the same ownership.

Today we employ full-time journeyman plasterers, many of whom have been with us for years. Our shop, warehouse and showroom are in Spring Valley, right off Highway 125. We buy materials by the truckload, keep everything for your job in one place before we start, and pass the savings on to you.

Our clients have included the City of San Diego, Camp Pendleton, the San Diego Zoo, local school districts, churches, apartment owners and thousands of homeowners.
